Meet Me… Vipin Ramdas
Who am I? What are my strengths? What’s my passion? What is unique about me? These are questions that have intrigued me all my life and still continue to. To be honest I still don’t know the complete answer to these questions. What I do know is that over the years there are things that I have enjoyed doing. Things that have given me the “kick”. Things that have ignited the fire in my belly. Things which when I did eroded the concept of time. One of the things is communicating with people. Right from the day I took up my first job I realized that I expressed myself best through words. I have also discovered that I have been personally interested in reading self-help books and books which help me develop myself.
I’ve read blogs, browsing websites and reading books about self-help, personal development and career advice for over 15 years now. I’ve been inspired by famous authors and motivational speakers like Napoleon Hill, Bob Proctor, Zig Ziglar, Les Brown, Jim Rohn, Stephen Covey, Dale Carnegie, Marshall Goldsmith among others. So I thought why not share what these books and speakers have taught me and what I have learnt, with the millions of people who share the same passion as me. What better way to share than to create a Blog!
This blog is my platform to share my thoughts, my ideas and learning’s with you. This blog will benefit all the young and aspiring professionals who wants to make it big in their careers. I hope that my experiences and learning’s help you jump-start your career, get that promotion you always wanted, get that raise and achieve all the other goals you set for your career. I bring with me more than 13 years of experience in working with people from over 25 different nationalities speaking over 15 languages and managed teams across 5 different time zones and 3 continents. Does that qualify me to be an expert?. I don’t think so. I really don’t want to believe I’m an expert because the day I do that, I will stop my learning and my development. That to me is like committing suicide. I’m here to share my experiences, what I have learnt, what has made me successful and continue learning from others on how they have been successful.
I believe we were all born smart with about the same amount of intelligence. Somewhere down the line due to our upbringing which includes schooling, college, family background and a host of other factors we got programmed the wrong way and we stopped dreaming and believing in ourselves and what we can achieve. I’ve always been amazed at how a kid is like a sponge till the age of 6, when he takes in and absorbs anything that comes his way. As we grow up we develop the so-called “intellect” and start to reason out everything in life and introduce what are known as “self-limiting” beliefs. Through this blog I hope to break down the walls which stop us from advancing in our careers, helping you achieve your goals and engage in a process of continuous personal development .
